Girls on the Run

My goal during the Appalachian Trail FKT was to raise $20,000 for Girls on the Run. My hope was to inspire women and girls to go for that tough goal no matter if it’s with running or in life. The very night I finished the AT in the overall fastest time ( at 11:53pm ) we hit my goal of $20,000. Since the word has gotten out about this record people have showed up and donated an additional $31,000 bringing the total to $51,203. My primary sponsor, Altra, has also decided to give $45,000 bringing the grand total to $95,153 (as of november 13). I’m hoping we can raise $3,797 more to get us to $100,000. If you were inspired by the AT FKT or want to help young girls across the country realize their potential and build confidence please consider donating.

“As the world has changed, the needs of girls and the pressures they face have intensified. Numerous reports have shown the decline in girls’ mental health and physical activity levels over the last decade. Girls on the Run helps to address these mental and physical health concerns. Now more than ever, girls need the skills to build their confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and discovery the joy of movement.”
